For my Live Art project, I wanted to capture the imperceivable deterioration of my eye sight that has continued for the last 8 years of my life. Drawing a connection between Ice and my inability to freeze the state my eyes, I wanted to demonstrate the metaphor of my eyes melting away by watching the process of an ice cube melting. The full performance lasted approximately 5 hours until I would be able to start again with another ice cube, to mimic the never ending deterioration.

As a development for this project I created some glasses that placed the ice directly in front of my eyes, so I was forced to look through them until they melted.
